Florence Waking Vale emerged as a collaboration between two friends, Kane Mazlin and Lawrence Folvig, connecting through harmony, melody and lyrical imagery. They made these songs together, for one another with the idea that perhaps one day, others may want to listen to their musical conversations. The songs arrived quickly and then took shape gradually through long distance collaboration when time, head space and heart space compelled the duo to complete their musical offerings. The result is their debut EP.
