Hike with Spring Skier
Rummaging through a storage container filled with stained clippings, old pins and All Access passes, a hardrive was stumbled upon, like a lost, black box recorder. Upon inspection, the files were discovered for Spring Skier's "We Were Astronomers", a collection of songs by Kane Mazlin and Remy Boccalatte, which did not seem to fit with the musical outlets at the time: Kane in the indie pop Hungry Kids of Hungary and Remy in the post-hardcore Paper & The Plane. Recorded by Matt Redlich (Ball Park Music, Holy Holy) after Remy joined the Hungries, the songs are rooted in 'dream folk', drawing influence from new and old.
