Hippocamping is the latest release from the indie dream folk duo from Brisbane, and is the first single from the sophomore album which will be called "The Big Surreal", which is due for release in 2021. What started as a track vision for a blissed out, Californian coastline, afternoon drive vibe, quickly began to push boundaries with the addition of more electronic elements, slightly departing from the pastural folk from the debut release, but still remaining deeply rooted in dreamfolk with heavy focus on vocal harmony and melody.

Thematically, it is a nostalgic illustration of spending time with memories, led through a narrative of a dinner date with a seahorse, and wondering whether another invite will ever come. Hippocamping is certainly a step in a progressed direction for the pair, while maintaining the base instrumentation of where it all began.
